{"id":2090,"date":"2023-03-22T14:49:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T13:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondationnext.com\/we-support-africa-water-solutions-for-access-to-water-in-uganda\/"},"modified":"2023-06-05T16:33:04","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T14:33:04","slug":"we-support-africa-water-solutions-for-access-to-water-in-uganda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fondationnext.com\/en\/we-support-africa-water-solutions-for-access-to-water-in-uganda\/","title":{"rendered":"Africa Water Solutions for access water in Uganda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To celebrate the World Water Day, we would like to highlight <a href=\"https:\/\/africawatersolutions.org\"><strong>AFRICA WATER SOLUTIONS<\/strong><\/a> (AWS), which we have been supporting for many years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AWS&#8217;s highly practical approach provides <strong>access to water for health centers, schools and families<\/strong> living below the poverty line in rural Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, over <strong>7,000 people had access to water<\/strong> thanks to the AWS project, enabling them to improve hygiene and sanitation practices and to reduce the number of water-related illnesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The installation of water tanks and rainwater collection systems has also enabled <strong>over 800 children<\/strong> to improve their school performances and reduce the time spent collecting water from wells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We congratulate the AWS teams on their work and on these results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To celebrate the World Water Day, we would like to highlight AFRICA WATER SOLUTIONS (AWS), which we have been supporting for many years.
