Since 2019, we have been supporting CAMFED (Campaign for Female Education)<\/strong><\/a> in Tanzania, whose aim is to help young girls to complete their secondary education and beyond through its network of women leaders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, with our support, more than 500 girls<\/strong> have completed their secondary school, 436 women have been trained in micro-entrepreneurship<\/strong> and nearly 2,000 children<\/strong> have benefited from school scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAMFED has just been selected as one of the 10 beneficiaries of “<\/strong>THE AUDACIOUS PROJECT<\/strong><\/a>“<\/strong>, a collaborative philanthropic initiative promoted by TED, which awards $1 million to each selected organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations CAMFED for this recognition, and well done to its new director, Ms Angeline Murimirwa<\/strong><\/u><\/a>, whose TED talk was particularly inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
