The Foundation supports “afuté” to drive professional integration for neurodivergent youth

In response to a critical reality—95% of individuals with cognitive disabilities in France lack access to education and employment—our Foundation is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the afuté association. Our shared objective: to transform exclusion into opportunity through innovative, workplace-based pedagogy.

A Major Societal Challenge

Today, an estimated 10% to 15% of the population is neurodivergent. Whether living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or learning disabilities (the “DYS” group), young people aged 14 to 30 too often face involuntary marginalization.

A striking paradox remains: while thousands of these young people aspire to work, many high-demand sectors are struggling to recruit. This is where afuté’s pioneering approach makes a difference.

afuté: Field-Proven Expertise

Founded in 2020 by Olivier Tran, the association was born from a personal mission to secure an inclusive future for his son and all young people in similar situations. In just four years, the organization has demonstrated the effectiveness of its unique pedagogical methods.

A Three-Tiered Training Pathway

Our support helps scale a unique mentorship model based on progressive development:

  • INITIATION: 20-hour discovery internships during school holidays to provide a first “taste” of the professional world.
  • TREMPLIN (Springboard): A 144-hour cycle over one year to acquire vocational fundamentals, conducted either at afuté or within a partner company.
  • ENVOL PRO (Pro Launch): An intensive 420-hour professional training program over one year, supervised by afuté, aiming for direct employability in standard work environments.

Beyond Training: Shifting Perspectives

The core strength of this project lies in total immersion. Training takes place directly on-site at partner companies. By involving employers as mentors, the program effectively deconstructs long-standing prejudices.

“Inclusion must move beyond intention to become a measurable reality. By supporting afuté, we are investing in a model where difference is transformed into a professional asset.”

The association also relies on a robust ecosystem, including the social enterprise caterer Biscornu and the Chaméléon consultancy (ESUS certified). This network enables precise profiling of technical skills (plating, service, logistics) and soft skills (stress management, self-confidence) essential for successful integration.
